Kurz gesagt: Für das restliche Jahr leben und arbeiten wir im Ressourcendefizit. Die Folgen
zeigen sich bereits heute weltweit und führen dazu, dass Nachhaltigkeit inzwischen ein zentraler Faktor für Politik, Wirtschaft und Bevölkerung geworden ist.

The day will probably have been an unremarkable Wednesday for you, too. However, this day marks the point in time for Germany when our ecological footprint exceeds the biocapacity available in Germany for this year. In short, for the rest of the year we will be living and working in resource deficit. The consequences are already evident worldwide and mean that sustainability has now become a central factor for politics, the economy and the population.
