N2  - Wenn ein Produkt mit jedem Bearbeitungsschritt ein Unternehmen wechselt, bleiben in der gesamten Prozesskette viele Informationen außer Acht. Daher sinken die Flexibilität innerhalb der Prozesskette sowie die Transparenz über den genauen Produktzustand. Genau das ist der Fall in der Stahlindustrie. Komplexe Stahlbearbeitungsprozesse werden erst durch eine Spezialisierung und große hergestellten Mengen lukrativ, was dazu führt, dass mehrere Unternehmen an der Wertschöpfung beteiligt sind. Im Projekt ‚E2E-Parameter‘ wollen das Institut für Bildsame Formgebung (IBF) und der FIR e. V. an der RWTH Aachen die Transparenz und Flexibilität der Prozessketten durch überbetrieblichen Datenaustausch erhöhen.
