N2  - Die Siemens Energy AG verfügt über 80 Produktionsstandorte auf der ganzen Welt. Die IT-Systemlandschaft in der Produktion ist – wie in gewachsenen Strukturen üblich – sehr heterogen. Folgerichtig stellt sich das übergeordnete Ziel, diese IT-Systemlandschaften zu harmonisieren. Dabei ist es unumgänglich, die unterschiedlichen Anforderungen aus den verschiedenen Unternehmensbereichen zu berücksichtigen. Nur so können die übergeordneten Effizienzgewinne mit einer Harmonisierung erreicht werden. Die Verbindung der Expertise von FIR und Siemens Energy war hier das Erfolgsrezept.
N2  - Siemens Energy AG has more than 80 production sites around the world. The IT system landscape in production is – as is usual in grown structures – very heterogeneous.
Consequently, the overriding goal is to harmonize these IT system landscapes. In the process, it is essential to take into account the different requirements of the various business units. This is the only way to achieve the overriding efficiency gains which can be achieved through harmonization. The combination of the expertise of FIR and Siemens Energy was the recipe for success here.
