• Massenproduktion und Massenkonsum waren gestern. Heute konzentrieren sich Unternehmen zunehmend auf Nachhaltigkeit, Effizienz und Individualität, um erfolgreich die Herausforderungen anzugehen, die durch den Klimawandel, Ressourcenknappheit sowie gestiegene regulatorische Nachhaltigkeitsanforderungen, etwa das Lieferkettensorgfaltsgesetz, entstehen. Die Grundlage dafür bildet ein nachhaltiges Produktionsmanagement, das alle Schritte des Wertschöpfungsprozesses integriert: die Auftragsabwicklung inkl. der Produktionsplanung und -steuerung sowie die dazugehörigen IT-Systeme. Eine losgelöste Betrachtung der wertschöpfenden Produktionsprozesse ist in der heutigen industriellen Praxis nicht mehr möglich, zu sehr greifen die Vorgänge der Auftragsabwicklung und dazugehöriger IT-Systeme, wie ERP, MES und Co., mittlerweile ineinander.
• Mass production and mass consumption were yesterday. Today, companies are increasingly focusing on sustainability, efficiency and individuality in order to successfully address the challenges posed by climate change, resource scarcity, and increased regulatory sustainability requirements, such as Germany’s new Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains. The basis for this is sustainable production management that integrates all steps of the value creation process: order processing, including production planning and control, and the associated IT systems. A non-contextual view of the value-creating production processes is no longer possible in today‘s industrial practice; the processes of order processing and the associated IT systems, such as ERP, MES, etc., are now too closely intertwined.
