Ready4ESG: Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung für KMU/Ready4ESG : Sustainability Reporting for SMEs

  • Das Forschungsprojekt ‚Ready4ESG‘, des FIR an der RWTH Aachen in Kooperation mit dem IPRI – International Performance Research Institute, zielt darauf ab, kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) die Erstellung von ESG-Berichten (Environmental, Social, Governance) zu erleichtern. Angesichts der steigenden Nachhaltigkeitsanforderungen und der neuen EU-Richtlinie zur Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), die eine deutliche Ausweitung der Berichtspflicht auf etwa 15 000 Unternehmen in Deutschland vorsieht, wird im Projekt ‚Ready4ESG‘ eine gleichnamige digitale Plattform zur Unterstützung von KMU bei der ESG-Berichtserstellung entwickelt. Diese Plattform wird es KMU ermöglichen, relevante Nachhaltigkeitsdaten effizient zu erfassen und die komplexen Anforderungen der ESG-Berichterstattung mit minimalem Ressourceneinsatz zu bewältigen. Somit entsteht mit der Plattform ‚Ready4ESG‘ eine zentrale Lösung, um KMU bei der Erfüllung regulatorischer Anforderungen und der freiwilligen Publikation von ESG-Aktivitäten zu unterstützen, indem sie die Erstellung von ESG-Berichten vereinfacht und teilautomatisiert.   • The 'Ready4ESG' research project, conducted in collaboration between FIR at RWTH Aachen University and the International Performance Research Institute (IPRI), aims to make it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to prepare ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reports. In view of increasing sustainability requirements and the new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which provides for a significant extension of the reporting obligation to around 15,000 companies in Germany, the 'Ready4ESG' project is developing a digital platform of the same name to support SMEs in ESG reporting. This platform will enable SMEs to record relevant sustainability data efficiently and to manage the complex requirements of ESG reporting with minimal use of resources. The Ready4ESG platform serves as a central solution to support SMEs in meeting regulatory requirements and the voluntary publication of ESG activities by simplifying and partially automating the preparation of ESG reports.
